The food on this island is especially amazing. Be sure to spend a night in the charming restaurant Biyer in Nicosia. The restaurant is known for the traditional Turkish Kebabs and Meze dishes prepared by a first class chef. It is also known for live local music. Another great place to try in Nicosa is the Sedirhan Café. The restaurant also serves traditional Turkish and Turkish Cypriot cuisine and is known for their molohiya, which is a traditional vegetable dish. In Protaras, have a meal at the upscale Kartanas. This restaurant is one of the more elegant restaurants in Cyrus. The mezze, based on the greek dish but with a Turkish influence, consists of over 20 different items and gives you a great taste of what Nothern Cyprus food has to offer including taramosalate, halloumi, lountza, kalamari, and traditional souvlaki.

There are a number of designer boutique shops located at the City Plaza shopping area. This upscale shopping destination is located on Makarios Avenue in the South side of Nicosia and is the destination of many visitors to North Cyprus. For those looking to pamper themselves, the Vaha is a luxury spa located in picturesque Karsiyaka in North Cyprus. Varosha is home to the SPA Centre Harmony. Boat trips are available out of Kyrenia's harbour. These boat tours consist of visiting different parts of the Kyrenia district coast. Many tours visit the Maremonte and Alagadi beaches. Head out at sunset and take in the stars after dark while sailing along the coast on the Mediterranean Ocean for a romantic time.

Kyrenia is home to the Girne castle this amazing castle is home to numerous archeological exhibitions. There are a number of guided tours that will take tourists through the 7th century castle as well as the tombs, dungeons and rooms within.
