Pardubice

Pardubice is the capital city of the Pardubice Region, Czech Republic. Situated on the side of river Elbe, Pardubice is located almost 104 east of Prague. Parbudice is highly well-known for its tradition of higher education and has some of the most famous universities. After the Second World War, the city witnessed rapid growth in the fields of transport network, chemical factories and machinery. The foundation of the city took place in 1340 however, in the early 13th century a monastery was said to be already built in the place. This monument is thus, considered to be the most ancient building in the city. However, it has no existence now.
