South Moravian

The South Moravian Region stands out as a significant locale in Czech Republic and is a major tourist destination. Considered the fourth largest region in Czech Republic, the region is situated on the borders of Slovakia and Austria. The capital city of Brno is a key judiciary city and also a university town. To the south of the South Moravian Region falls the famous Krtiny pilgrimage site, an artistically constructed Church consecrated to the Virgin Mary. The Peace Memorial which recalls the victory of Napoleon, located in the village of Prace, is another historical place of interest.

Worth mentioning, Turany Airport in Brno is a major connective centre connecting South Moravian Region with London, Munich and Prague and is the second largest airport in Czech Republic.
