Vysocina

Located in the south-west of Moravia, Vysocina obtained its name from Ceskomoravska vrchovina (Bohemia-Moravian Highlands), a hilly and rugged countryside located between the two major historical regions of Czech Republic. History has lent the region several old monuments which make the place all the more special. Known as the green heart of Czech Republic, the region connects Bohemia and Moravia.
