Dinan is a medieval walled town located on the River Rance.  Here visitors can take boat rides up the River or rent small motor boats and spend a day on the peaceful river.  Dinan also hosts an annual harp festival each July, followed by a harp workshop in August.  Not far from here is a beautiful and mystical area known as Merlin’s Forest, where locals say the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table originated. 

Visitors can stop at Carnac to see the prehistoric megaliths, erected by the ancient inhabitants at Carnac in the Neolithic period around 3300 B.C.  They are still a big attraction for visitors from all around the world. 

Visitors can also get in touch with mother nature by visiting the sandy peninsula of the Cote Sauvage, which is home to many beautiful varieties of birds, flowers and other animals.
