Bavaria is home to some of Germany's best golf courses, providing a wide variety of courses for golfers of all styles and levels. You will need a special licence to golf in Germany, called a Platzreife, or your handicap card from your home club. There are more than 500 golf courses in Germany, so you will never be without the appropriate place to tee off, whether that be in luxury or a more relaxed style. Bavaria is easily accessible by both air links and rail links from throughout Germany and Europe.

The Aschaffenburger Golf Club is located in Hosbach in the Bavarian area. It is an 18 hole course, with a hilly terrain. Don't get stumped on the water hazards! Guests are welcome, and with an elevation of 1000 feet, the views are spectacular.

The Golf & Country Club Erftal is in Eichenbuhl-Guggenberg in the Bavarian area of Germany. It is an 18 hole course, with flat terrain and some exotic water hazards. This is still a young club, founded in 1996. There is also a driving range, practice bunker, and a car park for dog owners.

The Glefzentrum Munchen-Riem GmbH & Co. KG is located in Munchen. It is a 9 hole course, also with flat terrain and water hazards to avoid at all costs. There is also a driving range, a children's playground, clubs for hire, locker rooms, and the option of playing a 3 hole set rather than nine.
