Historic Holiday Property Rentals Berlin

Berlin

Berlin, the German capital, is known for its many museums, historic palaces, and fantastic things to do for a fantastic family holiday. The city is second most populated city in the European Union. It is located in the northeastern part of Germany and has played a significant role in the world’s history and heritage.

Most visitors to the city visit the Deutsche Guggenheim. This wonderful art gallery is visited from people from all over the world and is home to many different art exhibitions throughout the year. Situated in the old and new center of Berlin, this museum represents the unusual partnership of a bank and a museum – the Deutsche Bank and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. Here, you can see a number of exhibits from international and local artists in the region.

Reichstag is home to one of the best places to get a great view of the city. The German parliament is home to a large glass tower with a large observation deck on top that offers a spectacular view of the city of Berlin. One of Germany's most historic and famous buildings, it is a common tourist stop. The Reichstag is right next to another great stop on your vacation list, which is the infamous Berlin wall.

The Berlin wall was a physical and psychological separation between two parts of the country, but quickly established itself as the overall symbol of the Cold War. Most of the Berlin Wall has now been destroyed since the border opened in 1989. One famous section still stands along the East Side Gallery, but smaller parts can also be seen.

The Holocaust Museum, nearby, is another necessary stop during your vacation to gain a better understanding of the Holocaust and its influence and impact internationally. No matter where you plan to stay or what you want to see on your holiday in Berlin, be sure to rent houses or apartments with all of the amenities you prefer, including a pool in some cases.

The Berlin Zoo is another great attraction in the area. The zoo is known for having the biggest collection of species in the world. This German zoo is located directly in the heart of the City West area. The zoo is well known for its panda bears and visitors can see a polar bear cub that was born in captivity in 2006. The Elephant Gate is a must-see for everyone who visits the zoo due to the amazing stone architecture.

We can offer a mixed range of rental accommodation in Berlin with most properties direct from owner, these tend to be guest house and private rental houses and apartments and some within walking distance of the city centre. Berlin is a perfect place for the short break holiday or cheap family holiday.
