Germany-Golf
Germany is home to some of the world's best golf courses, and it provides a wide variety of courses for golfers of all styles and levels. You will need a special licence to golf in Germany, called a Platzreife, or your handicap card from your home club. There are more than 500 golf courses in Germany, so you will never be without the appropriate place to tee off, whether that be in luxury or a more relaxed style. Germany is easily accessible by both air links and rail links from throughout Europe.
The Krefelder Golf Club was created in 1930 and has a history of tradition and beauty. With a flat landscape, lovely architecture, and parkland that stretches as far as the eye can see, this is the place to visit for par 4 holes, small greens, and well placed bunkers.
The Gut Grambek Golf Course is located in Grambeck. This is a particularly special course, offering a taster day of golf with Mark Watkinson. With well maintained grounds, and guidance from their local teachers, as well as the possibility of working under the guidance of Englishman Mark Watkinson, this is a delightful course for the newcomer to golf.
The Steisslingen e.V. Golf Club is a younger club, but with 18 holes, a public training area, and a beautiful clubhouse and restaurant, this club is sure to satisfy your golfing requirements. This club has a Scottish atmosphere, by architect Dave Thomas. Visit for the lovely lake views!
