The island of Samos is home to the Archaeological Museum, with historic statues of gods and goddesses, and many freestanding sculptures from ancient Greece. The museum also includes a huge collection of artifacts from many ancient Greek cities, including bronzes and ivory miniatures.

In Batsi, visitors can enjoy live music at one of the village's music bars. Porto Batsi features live music on weekends, while Capriccio Music Bar features live Greek music and features a great view of the village's harbor.
Batsi is also home to Meleti, where local potter Sofia Meleti sells her own distinctive plates, cups and decorates items. All of Meleti's pieces are decorated with a bee.
Petaloudes is home to an area known as the Valley of the Butterflies. In July and August, butterflies can be seen by the thousands in the area. Buses are available to take visitors to the area.
Visitors can enjoy gourmet food at Mylopetra in Yialos, which is located in an old flour mill. The restaurant is decorated with an ancient tomb embedded in glass and a candlelit terrace.
Visitors can schedule private coach tours throughout areas of the Aegean Islands. Many tours feature wine tastings and stops at historical sites.
