Visitors to Greece can experience the country's rich ancient culture by visiting one of its amazing museums, art galleries or fine arts performances. Greece offers many opportunities for its visitors to get a close up view of its modern and historical culture.

Corfu is home to the Archaeological Museum, featuring an exquisite stone lion dating from 575 BC which was found in the nearby Menekrates tomb. The museum is also home to the pediment from the ancient Temple of Artemis, which features the Gorgon Medusa. Visitors to the museum can also view the Archaic pediment found at Figare, which features an ancient depiction of the god Dionysos.
Visitors can enjoy an opera at the Olympia Theatre in Athens, where the Greek National Opera performs regularly. The Pallas Theatre features many jazz and rock concerts, as well as some classical performances.
The Archeological Museum in Vathikarlovassi is located in two buildings near the town's harbour. The museum's newer building is home to many sculptures. The museum's most remarkable work is a large statue of a boy standing 16 feet tall. The museum also features a large collection of various bronze votives found at the Heraion.
The museum and art gallery, Averof-Tositsa in Metsovo is a modern art museum which is home to over 250 works. Most of the works are from the personal collection of Evagelos Averof, and include paintings from famous Greek painters including Gyzis, Lytras, Maleas and Gikas. The collection is considered to be one of the best from this period.
The Museum of Ancient Greek, Byzantine, and Post Byzantine Musical Instruments features many elaborately detailed reproductions of historical string and wind instruments. The museum also includes photographs of instruments, ancient vase paintings and Byzantine manuscripts.
