Leinster in Ireland has many excellent golf courses and most are within easy reach of Dublin. The region is comprised of several counties, and each boasts its own attractive courses.

Dublin is easily accessible from Europe and therefore the ideal golfing spot for people on short breaks. St Anne's Golf Club is a par 71 links course on the Bull Island Nature Reserve in Dublin Bay. Founded in 1921, it started as only a nine-hole course but is now 18. The course comprises natural links terrain of sand and dunes and can be very challenging, particularly when it's windy. Visitors are welcomed.

Grange Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Rathfarnham, in the foothills of the Dublin mountains. A challenging par-68 parkland course, itt is considered one of the best established golf clubs in the Dublin area. The course is suitable for all skill levels.

Mt Juliet Golf Club, in Thomas Town in the heart of Kilkenny, is Ireland's top rated parkland course and is championship-rated. Designed by renowned architect Jack Nicklaus, it suits all skill levels.

County Wicklow is home to a range of excellent courses, such as Druid Glen Golf Club. An elite club, it is a championship parkland course and has hosted the Murphy's Irish Open several times. It is a demanding course guaranteed to pose a challenge all golfers.
