Lazio - Golf

Lazio is home to some of Italy's best golf courses, and it provides a wide variety of courses for golfers of all styles and levels. There are more than 190 golf courses in Italy, so you will never be without the appropriate place to tee off, whether that be in luxury or a more relaxed style. There are no special licence requirements to play in Italy but it is advisable to have a proof of handicap card if you can. Lazio is easily accessible by both air, road and rail links from throughout Europe.

Golf Club Fioranello. The club is situated in the Albanian Mountains, the low range of volcanos, which closes Rome off to the south. The course is very attractive because it winds through the impressive ruins of a Roman aqueduct.

Golf Club Parco de' Medici. A technically demanding 18-hole course with many small uprisings, bunkers and water hazards. Children under 12 years are however denied access to the club house and the course.

Golf Club Arco di Costantino. The 18-hole links style golf club was founded in 1992 only a few minutes away from Rome and is considered Scottish inspired, thanks to its British designers. There is also an adjoining 9 hole course that is more like other Italian courses.
