Italy is home to some of the Europe's best golf courses, and it provides a wide variety of courses for golfers of all styles and levels. There are more than 190 golf courses in Italy, so you will never be without the appropriate place to tee off; whether that be in luxury or a more relaxed style. There are no special golf licence requirements to play in Italy but it is advisable to have a proof of handicap card if you can. Circolo Golf Bogogno lies in a sheltered wooded valley, concealing two wonderful 36 hole golf courses, beautifully moulded into the landscape of Monte Rosa. Proof of handicap is required to play here.

Established in 1903, the Circolo del Golf di Roma was the first club in Italy. The 18-hole championship level course wends its way past roman ruins, streams and other relics scattered around the landscape.

Olgiata Golf Club, Roma. This is one of the more beautiful courses within the capital's boundaries, it is actually two courses, the very demanding 18-hole course and the much easier separate 9-hole layout.
