The church dates from the 7th and 9th centuries and was built on the remains of an important Roman villa. The churches neighbouring Museum of Roman Mosaiques features the beautiful ancient mosaics.

La Lorraine in Luxembourg is a popular, upscale luxury restaurant serving seafood and French cuisine. The upstairs of the restaurant is a formal dining area featuring art deco décor. The downstairs of the restaurant is more casual and offers an oyster bar. The restaurant features a large selection of Breton oysters, as well as duck, lamb, and of course, seafood.

Visitors can schedule tours of Grevenmacher's wine cellars at the Caves Cooperatives des Vignerons (Cooperative Wine Cellars). The wine cellars are open from May through August, and by appointment during other months. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing ride on the Princesse Marie Astrid, a cruise boat which features an onboard restaurant. The boat travels up and down the Moselle from Grevenmacher from Easter until the end of September.
