Central Scotland may be a little underated among the six main golfing regions in Scotland, but don't let that stop you from enjoying any of the 119 genuine quality courses on offer. You'll be very pleasantly surprised they offer not only the golfing challenges but the scenery in the area can also be spectacular. Windyhill Golf Club has produced some champions including Scottish star golfer Janice Moodie. The club motto is “once you play at Windyhill you'll realise how easy all the other courses are”. They attribute the challenges of the course as the reason why they produce world champion golfers.

The Glenbervie Golf Club is said to be one of Scotland's foremost clubs. The parkland course is an outstanding example of wonderful views and golfing challenges. This testing course pleases all handicap levels. Hosting many championship competitions it was, until recently, home to the Scottish region of the PGA.

The Hilton Park Golf Club is nine miles to the North of Glasgow and sits on the edge of Rob Roy country. You'll have the choice of two 18 hole courses, The Hilton and The Allander. Both are set in moorland and are 600 feet above sea level. Over 100,000 trees define this hilly course and add to the natural challenges that will not disappoint.
