Balearic Islands - Luxury

Enjoy the Balearic Islands during your vacation to Spain. You can find a number of exciting and interesting attractions during your Spanish holiday vacation. Stay at one of our luxury beach front villas with private pool or relax in a luxury rental apartment.

From Ibiza to Mallorca, there are great beaches and islands here with over 300 days of sunshine each year. With each island having a strong personality of its own, you are sure to experience a great holiday vacation with all of the luxurious amenities you could want.

Ibiza is the most popular of the Balearic Islands. Since the 1960's this island, often called the “White Island” for its typical white architecture, has been famous for its beaches, including Ses Salinas and the Playa d'en Bossa. Located in the middle of the island, Playa d'en Bossa is one of the longer resorts and is in direct path to the island's airport. Visit Platja des Figueral for a great cliff area and rock that makes for excellent cliff diving. Meanwhile, for plenty of privacy, head to Cala d'Hort for its hidden sandy coves and peaceful serene atmosphere.

Take a personal luxury boat trip out to the island of Es Vedra. You can charter a glass-bottomed catamaran to see this island's beauty from both below and above the water for an exceptional ride.

If you love Mediterranean food, enjoy a special occasion while in Mallorca. Majorca is the largest of the islands, is known for its exceptional seafood dishes. While you are here, you can visit Read's Cookery School to take a culinary class with a Michelin-starred chef Marc Fosh or other culinary artist, and learn how to make the original Mediterranean cooking dishes here to take home with you.

While in the Balearic Islands, be sure to tour the town of Soller to see the olive farms and learn how to make olive oil the old-fashioned way. Stop in at a glass manufacturer in town to see the artists blow glass in front of your eyes.

Some of the best shopping is in Mallorca as well. Look for designer couture, jewellery and collectables while in Palma, the island's capital city. You can find a number of exquisite goods on Avinguda Jaume II or down the side streets of Bonire, Sta. Maria del Sepulcro and Sant Marty.

Sign up for luxury accommodations while in the Balearic Islands. You can find seaside holiday villas with extra amenities like a personal maid service for additional fee or private pool and BBQ area. Stay closer to town with luxury rental houses that feature a sauna or Jacuzzi when you plan your next romantic or family holiday to these beautiful islands.
