The South Atlantic States are one of nine divisions within the United States, consisting of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington DC.

Florida

Start with Florida to see a Vacationer's Paradise. Florida was built on the dollars of tourism and continues to welcome visitors with open arms every day. Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina offer a glimpse into Southern culture with a unique regional cuisine and dialect that cannot be missed. Set in a lovely landscape with rolling hills and some of the friendliest people in the country, these states feature an array of attractions, including Atlanta (Georgia's capital and frequently called the 'New York City of the South') and the expansive beaches, including Ocean Isle Beach, Cape Hatteras and more.

Visit Maryland for the beautiful scenery and to taste the famous Maryland crab that is featured there.
